In August of 1982, Wright Quad residents Jeff Mease and Lennie Busch changed the Bloomington , Indiana pizza scene when they opened their first Pizza X store on East 10th Street.

Since then, the duo has expanded Pizza X to six locations in Bloomington with plans for more. Busch and Mease have gone on to become prominent in the Bloomington food and beverage scene as their company, One World Enterprises, also created Lennie’s, Bloomington Brewing Company, One World Catering & Events, One World KitchenShare, and Hive and One World at Woolery Mill.
Creating community and serving the staff that make up the Pizza X family are vital to the success of the company.

The company’s official birthday, August 2nd, was the kick off to “Pizza X Marks the Spot” promotions where our Pizza X van can be spotted around town handing out pizza and merch. For the coming months, Pizza X will be celebrating its 40th year in business with community engagement, fun contests, events, and promotions to get “pizza to the people” through the end of summer and fall.
