Marketing and Promotions Internship
Under the direction of the Marketing staff, the marketing and promotions intern team works to develop and execute marketing strategies for each brand based on market trends, competitive analysis, consumer research, and internal data. Interns also create engaging, communicative, and illustrative copy for use in a variety of ways, including both digital and print material. Additionally, interns help manage the day-to-day posts and customer interaction on all social media platforms for selected brands, keeping each brand’s digital footprint fresh and current. Also, interns will participate in promotional events and street team marketing.
Interns are typically delegated a specific area of focus, including:
Promotion
Social Media Content Creation & Management
Graphic Design
Photo & Video
Sales & Marketing
Little 500 Promotions
Along with in-office marketing projects, interns represent our brands at events in order to build and maintain customer relationships, increasing brand awareness and sales.
One World Enterprises
One World Enterprises is comprised of multiple brands found around Bloomington! We love to hire local and get insight into our marketing practices from students. One World is Pizza X, Lennie’s, Hive, One World Catering & Events, One World at Woolery Mill, and One World KitchenShare.
With a focus on fresh, local products, Pizza X has been delivering pizza.love.happiness to Bloomington since 1982. Because Pizza X is a locally-owned, independent restaurant, it has the unique ability to connect directly with the customer. The company focuses heavily on this opportunity when developing marketing strategy. One of the most important examples of such marketing strategies is the Pizza X Internship Program. Since starting the internship, the team focused solely on Pizza X. After reevaluating the program, the internship has expanded to cover all brands of One World Enterprises (OWE). The goal of the OWE Intern team is to create brand awareness and build positive customer relationships through grassroots market strategies, including attending campus and community events.
